Hi. I have been using cast iron for about 30 years at some level or another. Certainly not exclusively.  Primarily a few pans. Also some camp Dutch ovens. Just joined to get more information on cast iron. Currently about to buy a Griswold 8 waffle iron I would love to try out. Will need a little restoration first.

Welcome! Some of the best things that we like to do with our collectible cast iron, is use them. Get yourself that Griswold number 8 waffle iron and use it. I have a few waffle irons that I like to put into rotation and cook waffles with. Welcome aboard

You have come to the right place.  Excellent choice in users.  I have Lodges, Wagner, Griswold, Martin, BSR, Favorite Piqua Ware, and my personal go to, a second series Erie #10, as daily users.  You will fit right in here.

Welcome, Joe.  You certainly look like you know how to care for cast iron.  As Will said, we at WAGS like to use our cast iron.  So buy that No. 8 Gris waffle iron and use it!
