At the annual 2023 WAGS convention, the membership raised the dues for joining and continuing membership in WAGS by $10. In 2003, the dues were set at $25 for single and $35 for a family (2 members). After 20 years, it was time to raise the dues, as the $25 in 2003 is equivalent to $42 in 2023 because of inflation over the past 20 years. We left the initiation fee at $5 for the first year, but the single membership was raised from $25 to $35 and family membership from $35 to $45. This change was effective immediately after the vote on September 29, 2023. Those current WAGS members that paid dues in advance were grandfathered in for the future years that were paid for prior to September 29, 2023.
