Put me on the list.   Doug

Hello Doug. I will send you out one. Thanks.

Also, to all the other folks who may read this. I have some of these catalogs left. For those of you who may not know. I had these reproduced from an original 1895/96 Griswold sales catalog. It is complete with prices and all. And it is a very good catalog. I have every cast iron reprint available for Wagner, Griswold, Favorite, and Wapak, and in my opinion it is one of the very best, if not theee best one out there available. Like I said, I have everyone available, so I should know.  ;)

Hello Ed. No, I do not have a catalog for Sidney Hollow Ware. I wish I did though, original or reprint.  :(

Hello Cheryl. What John Wright is talking about here is NOT a 'Sidney Hollow Ware Catalog'. What John Wright is talking about is a catalog that Wagner put out, about 'Sidney' Hollow Ware, which is the line of hardware that Wagner was making AFTER it bought 'Sidney Hollow Ware'. So this catalog that John is talking about, and he says so, came out in about 1908. 'Sidney Hollow Ware Catalog' would have to been put out prior to 1900. Hope that helps.  :)

I'm with Perry on this one. I have a copy of the catalog that John mentioned. "SIDNEY" WARE ( marked on the front of catalog #20) was produced by Wagner after purchasing SHW.

Cheryl, I got mine yesterday and even my son thinks it is WAY cool. he sat and looked it over from front to back cover this morning. AND, he is not even into CI. Oh, BTW I think it is way cool too. Perry did a great job with it.

Putting in a shameless plug to our new members and forum visitors, if you don't have one of Perry's catalogs, you don't know what you're missing.  It's a wonderful reprint that shows items I've not seen in other Griswold catalogs.  And it's bargain-priced.

{hidden aside to Perry -- end of spiel--you know where to send the payola money.} ;)

Thank you for the plug Sandy. The payola will be in the usual drop box.  ;)

As a side note. If anybody wants one of these just IM me and we will make it happen. I sent two out Saturday in fact.

I'll second Sandys comments. This catalogue is one of those "Must Haves" if you like iron. This has put me on the trail of things that I didn't know Griswold even made. Thank you for all the work you put into getting this reprint to press, and offering it here, and not squirreling it away just for you.  :) ;)

For what it's worth, as a recent WAGS member (less than a year) and cast iron addict (less than a year and a half), I highly recommend purchasing a copy of the catalog.  I bought one and it taught me what an innovative company Griswold was.  I love looking through it, reading the ad copy and looking at the product photos.

The reproduction is very high quality and, quite frankly, without the efforts of people like Perry, could easily have been lost to history.  It's really worth having.

Thank you for the endorsement Jim. I appreciate it. What good is all this information and knowledge if we don't share it.  :)

I have several catalogs that have been reproduced, Griswolds, Wagners, Favorite, Wapak, some stove books, and others. Out of all of them I like the Griswold 1895/96 the best.
