I would also like to suggest, that, IF POSSIBLE, please attach additional pictures of the item, especially bottom showing markings, and top view.

I realize it may not always be possible to obtain those...   :smiley:

I don't know if this anything you want on the Foundry Pages, but have been emailed some BS&R Labels.
This one is on a skillet. Check out the tab handle on the Dutch Oven lid, This must of been right after BS&R started using the DESI Molding machines. Later they went to a looped handle.

Label Instructions:

IMPORTANT:
Remove lacquer by boiling ....
a strong solution of lye. Then
clean with steel wool and any
good scrubbing compound. Season
the utensil by heating it
and rubbing with oil or clean
lard. Give iron covers the same
treatment
