Interesting how on these smoothed bottom advertising skillets the handle are so different, especially the hang hole. As Lodge had that small smoothed bottomed set, makes me wonder if one spawned the other.

About that advertising skillet. I talked to someone who grew up in Whiting Indiana. Its about 15 miles from me. They said that there was indeed a Kozacik Hardware store there. I have seen several and have a very nice one with the label.

They got around, I've seen letterheads that they had ano office in Dallas.

Then again, They no doubt sold quite a bit of BSR products in their hardware store. Whiting is a big hard working blue collar oil refinery town. BSR could have had a great salesman that said You know, we can put your name on a skillet!! And rest they say is history.
