How many did you say you wanted Roger?

On second thought, I'd better not.  I'd hate to ship them here and have the walk away dissapointed.  How could I compete with the Frankencookerator and fried fish.  Tell me, do they get in trouble if they press their noses against the window, or do they leave small imprints that form a mosaic as if in some form of tribute?  All the while anxiously awaiting a scrap or some small morsel to be tossed their way in acknowledgement of their work?  (just curious)

Tsk Roger, would have been a good deal this weekend.

Mighty Mother Nature decided to push one last blast of Canada's air our way creating lines of thunderstorms fraught with copious flashes of lightning and roaring thunder. The ElectroFrankenCookerator was no match for the display. The peasants trembled and quickly absconded.

Brisk winds and dropping temps followed on the dawn driving the meek and hearty alike to shelter. Cold it shall be for several days and gardening is at risk. The peasants shivered.

The weather has been atrocious for cleaning iron around here, otherwise on pretty days I have been too busy to start a project.

The peasants are missing. Perry? Roger?

I'm innocent.   [smiley=notme.gif]

Perhaps they've found a new Lord of the Heat Ring?

Greetings Roger and the rest of the Kingdom!

Alas the peasants got weary of my absence and absconded to I knew not where. I found them being mesmerized by the brick layers at the new supermarket being built nearby. I shall gather copious amounts of iron to clean and load the Cookerator to the max. When the switch is thrown, the thunderous roiling and boiling of the soup along with great white-hot flashes of lightning will bring the peasants back. Imagine... watching someone lay bricks for excitement. I'll excite them!

I have been involved in some personal and family difficulty which made me unable to properly perform my duties. Although it is ongoing, I have continued to monitor the situation here with all you ferric aficionados. This new forum is great ain't it?

Thomas, I feared the worst. The peasants had pulled a mutiny on you and had you locked up in a cast iron prison with rust and crud on the walls with only a small window to look out of, and there in plain view was your cookerator, alone and without purpose. Its good to hear from you and I hope your problems are resolved with the same expediency as that of your cookerator when its at is best, and the peasants are pleased, happy, and in a festive mood. I'm warmin up.

I am back from a marevelous week on the pristiene shores of L. A. (that be Lower Alabama), yea where I stood a mere 36 hours ago a stom of some porportion, yet not more than a high wind nusance, has arrived upon the Gulf Shores. I figured I'd better boogie on out of there to the relative safety of the Red Clay Hills; just in case something really came of it. As it were, I really didn't want to drive home in the wind and rain since I would be heading NE right into the bands. And as it were again, I was right.

The peasants were miffed enough that I haven't put on a display lately and have been a bit cool and putoffish since I have been absent more than the occassional day or two. However I have promised a magananomus cooking in the near futre to, if nothing else, keep their hopes alive.

 The pesants are patient.

Thomas, its good to see you made it back safe and sound in spite of the weather. For all we know'd you mighta run off with one of them young peasant gals, worse things have happened to a man you know. Fire off a shot, send up a smoke signal, do the flag thing, hoist the flag, burn a barn, send us an email, or write us a letter. Communications is a wonderful thing. Good to hear from you. Worse thing is I feared you got the big head, you bein at the top of the stack with all them peasants and everything, AND having the cookerator too.
