For an all around metal polish here is a very good one. It is called semichrome. It can usually be found at motorcycle shops or some auto parts places. Below is a link so you will know what to look for. I have used it for years.

Thanks C.B., I need some stuff just like that. Sounds like it was made for what I want. I wonder if its cheaper or better to get it from the website or to buy it from a store? Just wondering out loud here.  ;D

That web site price seems about right. It is a little pricy, but a little goes a long way. I have even used it to polish lexan and plexiglass. When you get it, put a dab about the size of a match head on an old penny, rub a little and see what it will do.
