You are probably right Perry.....We used those a lot working in the electrical construction trade, especially in heavy indusrtial work, like the refineries. They work great when one is trying to add another rack to an existing pipe rack, where you can't take the existing rack apart. I'm sure there are many other uses, but that's what I mostly used them for. So, I'm very used to working with uni-strut, all thread, rod couplings, beam clamps, and assorted accessories that go with the work......kind of like necessity being the mother of invention or something like that.
Kinda gets the gears turning, huh.... ;) ;)
