I was in a restaurant supply store a few weeks ago, and saw an item on the counter called "Carbon Off". It said it was safe for aluminum, so I thought I would give it a try. Spray it on, wait a few minutes, or as long as you want, then wash right off, no scrubbing needed. Sounds too good to be true right. It actually worked pretty good. I had a pretty carbon-ed up Wagner oval roaster so I tried it on 1/2 the inside if the lid.
