Electro question
« on: November 04, 2014, 05:49:24 PM »
Now that set up is a success I am having a tough time removing the black build up on the zapped piece. What is the easiest way to get the piece clean ready to season? Thanks for all your help.  Wes

I wanted the "easy spray it on wipe it" off method!!!!!! Your answer is what I have been doing. I was afraid this was the solution, but was hopeful for the easy way out!

Called building muscle  ;D Isn't cleaning cast fun?

Oven cleaner, spray it on the tough spots and let it sit. That's what I do anyhow. Learned the hard way that easy-off isn't so easy off - doesn't contain sodium hydroxide. Cheap no-name walmart stuff eats off the black and is $2 a can here.
