I was at an auction today that featured an entire set of Block Logo Heat Ring Griswolds. They were all in excellent condition. I've been asked to post a list of the realized prices. So here it is:

Those prices are not out of line at all when referenced with EBay prices when you include shipping charges.

I don't see any bargains there and the 14 seems a bit high (but you can hold it in your hands so that makes a difference to me) and I bet it was fun to watch all of those items!!

Did you come home with anything other than the #2??

Grabbed a smooth bottom 6 just for fun, and I'm putting a set together for my daughter.
An unmarked Wagner utility griddle, and another Wagner Ware Aluminum scoop. a #1 this time.

Chuck I can understand why people collect aluminum cookware as it is beautiful when it is all cleaned up!!  Trouble is that even when you use a buffing wheel it takes a while to clean and I have no idea how to get the black stuff off from around your finger nails??

I pretty much grab up the Wagner aluminu utensils when I see them. There are quit a few. Thye do shine up most of the time, and as for the black around the nails, I wear gloves, and still get it on my some how. It wears off with time because it sure don't wash off.  ;D

Hey,  stay away from the aluminum.   Most of it is still cheap and affordable. ;)

I'm only looking for the utensils. The aluminum cookware is not my strong suit. It's all yours Will.

Let's just say that I didn't get the #2 for the same price that I've gotten other #2's. Well it was actually Deb. She got one for $25 dollars about a year ago. I wasn't even there. I was at another auction. I miss out on all the fun.   ;D

the 6 and 9 were great buys, block HR's are getting tough to find.

I thought those 2 were the only bargains of the day also. I only picked up the #2 BL HR out of that set, and a couple other odds, and ends.
