#0 Gris question
« on: December 23, 2008, 10:11:20 PM »
Is the block logo EPU w/HR the only set to have the #0? According to the BB it is. Just want to know if I'm missing something.

Just checkin'. Thanks Harry. The reason I asked is that I have a line on one, and I wanted to make sure what I was going after.

I've seen the repros in the RB and BB, and also here on Wags. It should be easy to spot due to the poor casting. Is there any thing else to watch for on the repros?

Chuck, just from the iron that you have had in your hands, when you see a fake 0, you'll know it. Sometimes some fuzzy pictures from sellers on ebay throw me off, but if you are looking right at it, thats a huge plus. These nice little 0 skillets used to be a 100.00 or more, but the repros have hurt the price of the real ones and made people gun shy, so you can get the real ones pretty reasonable, if you know the difference.

Got a pic of the #0 that I'm talking about. Of course it's a little fuzzy. Maybe fake, maybe not. Any opinions?

Looks petty smooth to me. I don't think the repros have a ground cooking surface.
You'll know more when you get it in your hand.

Yep, It's the older version and it's real. I personally like this version more than the later one.
