Thank you Ed, I am really suspecting that Griswold items were used for masters to make Sidney skillet patterns, and I know of a Sidney griddle that has a ERIE ghost and is slightly smaller as well. Makes me wonder about all the things that Sidney cast.

Is the griddle a script Sidney??  I agree that SHW script Sidneys were made using ERIE pieces for a pattern.
I have not seen an ERIE ghost on a block Sidney piece.

The Sidney Griddle with an ERIE ghostmark was a script Sidney.

To see a photo of a blocked Sidney Hollowware Co. skillet with an ERIE ghostmark, turn to blue book page 281. Look above the W in hollow and there is an E. Can someone tell what series of ERIE skillet that handle is from?

I have seen ERIE ghost on SHW pieces.
The block Sidney pieces produced by Wagner like in reply 21 are the ones I have never seen ERIE ghost on.
Thats what I thought you were saying Dwayne, was that you had seen a ERIE ghost on the Wagner made Sidney marked pieces.
