If the #20 is serviceable by any maker you'll be ahead of the game, IMO.

he e mailed back that he did a little checking up and that he found the 20 is worth $200 to $300. i answered "only if in good condition and could be cleaned up". i suspect my chain was being pulled by some troll in the area that doesn't approve of my tactics, oh well, just keep trying.

Bummer!

I lost out of a couple of Indian Head skillets a couple of months ago.  I think it was two Indian Head and a Griswold for $75.  Saw them on NH craigslist and the location was given as Plymouth.

I check on mapquest, and Plymouth, NH is over 2 hours away.  Decided not to do it.

Check again a couple of days later, saw the same listing, and noticed that the location was actually Plymouth, MA.  The person listed them in the a few of the region's craigslists.  We were even headed in that direction on Saturday morning, and could easily have gone to Plymouth, MA.

By time the person called me back on Saturday morning, He already had someone coming to look at them.  :(

Robert, if you think he actually has the pans, I would still go look.  The 20 could be worth $600 - $800 by itself if its the EPU version in nice condition.

thanks blake, but i don't have those kinds of funds to play with. and i do think the guy is a troll that has been messing with my craigslist postings. i have even had a couple of them deleted for no reason.
