Tomlinson Cast Serving Ware
« on: June 18, 2015, 10:17:00 AM »
I have an opportunity to purchase a few serving dishes made or sold  by Tomlinson Industries. My question is where are they manufactured? The Staub products are outstanding and my first choice but are cost prohibitive. Please tell me it's not Chinese. Thanks

Their website says they are a distributor so my guess after looking at their products in their catalog is that they are Asian imports

I guess they're ok if you don't happen to be picky about what you eat off of and ingest. I am so there goes that deal. Thanks for your input :)

The prices for the Tomlinson pieces are higher than the comparative size Lodge made in USA pieces so why not just buy the Lodge.

You can get the Lodge at Walmart, Order online for in store pickup with no shipping charge

6.5" Lodge $11.47
8"   Lodge  $10.59
9" Lodge $16.09
10 1/4" Lodge $15.92
12" Lodge $19.97
13 1/4" $36.74
15" $50.20
There is also several different griddles rectangular and round and square skillets with ribbed cooking surfaces.

Or you can have more fun looking for vintage iron.
