Jim H. at the swap meet and his tables.  Yes there is a flat bottom scotch bowl on that table. Size 4 if I remember correctly.

Greg, Sandy who, at her first convention? Also, is it alright to ask, who had the one, and who bought it for how much? If it ain't alright, I'm asking anyway, of course one doesn't have to answer.  ;) I'm just curious.

Why our own Sandy Glen of course.  John Knapp had the #1 for sale and it went back with him.  I almost had a heart attack when I saw it on his table and the price I thought I saw, as I was going to have another of these #1's for that price, but I missed the "first" number, lol.

Sandy, I'm glad you went to the convention. They wudn't mean to you wuz they? Now Sandy, was there any snobs in the bunch or was they all nice like me?

Ellis was there, I hope you didn't loan him any money. I loaned him 50.00 at the last convention so he could have gas money to get back home cause he lost all his money in a poker game an he ain't paid me yet.  >:(

Sandy,

I'm a little miffed at you, you wouldn't let me take your picture in the house, but let Greg take one outside under the awning >:(  Playing "Favorites"?

And, Sandy, do not let CPR lead you down the primrose path...the $50 was a down payment on a civil suit for injuries suffered by me at last years convention by thugs hired by CPR.  The details of the assualt are still too painfull to recall even at this time.  The amount CPR still owes is still under litigation.

Cheers, Ellis

Man oh man oh man, hello Ellis, my silver tongued buddy. :)

Sandy, don't believe Ellis. I told ya he was slicker'n a tadpole. Actually, I shot it out with him in a fair pistol duel. I gave him the first shot at me, me lookin him right in the eye, and I ain't not small target.

We were 10 paces away. Ellis missed his shot. After that I was able to get him in the leg after he ran about a 150 yards and got behind a tree. Being the gentleman that I am I took a leg shot on him and he has been makin up this story to save face ever since.

Sandy, you bein the woman of integrity that you are I know you will believe me.  :) I come to you with clean hands. Ajax don't make nuthin that will clean Ellis's hands.  ;D

Actually, Perry, the main reason I went to the convention was to witness a rematch between you and Ellis... maybe next year?

And Ellis, don't be peeved.  Had I seen Greg pointing his camera at me I would have tossed that lobster claw at him.  Instead I juiced myself with it.

Aw Sandy, be still, I'm glad Greg got your picture. Now we all know how attractive you are.  ;)

And also Sandy, I'm glad you will not be duped by that big city slicker Ellis Morehead, who will take advantage of an innocent country boy at the drop of a hat.  :)

Roy Meadows gave an incredible talk on 27 years of ERIE skillets and I'll be posting the entire information with pix on the "DARK SIDE", so that you can now id the different series of ERIE skillets.  WHAT a GREAT talk!!  However, my camera batteries died, so I don't have pix, but others do.
I just posted a PDF of the ERIE skillet information that Roy Meadows provided, so that you can id the 6 different series of ERIE skillets.  The file is on the WAGS only side of the forum (aka, the DARK SIDE).  It is on the WAGS DISCUSSION board at present.  You must be a member of WAGS to see this board.

OH PLEASE!!!!!!!!!   ::)  Man oh man......you gotta watch that Perry, Sandy.  He's got more lines than 20 fisherman in a rowboat.

You see, Sandy, he goes trolling at WAGS conventions, and it ain't for fish.  It seems you were safe this year, since CPR is banned from entering Massachusetts, but next year, phew!!!!!  You'd better be careful, cause I think they still allow him in Pennsylvania.

It's just so bad, that last year, we sent him a special registration for the convention.......Perry's convention was in Oklahoma, whilst the rest of knew the real location.  Dang if he ain't got the nose of a bloodhound, because he showed up in Tennessee!!!!!!

Sandy.............. you've been warned!!!!!

Marty, you're just mad because you were planning to attend the convention in TN and at the last minute could not make it due to circumstances beyond your control.

Don't listen to her Sandy. Got more lines than 20 fishermen in a rowboat. Now thats a new line Marty. Can I use that?  ;D

Marty, I was wearing boots when I read Perry's post. ;D  Besides, I think he's in desperate need of an eye exam.  The cute little young bartender at Greg's would have been more to his liking.
