2007 Convention - we're here, where are you?

Well the convention started this morning at 9 am with the tee off of the WAGS golf tournament.  We have a new champion this year... me.  I shot a 84 and Larry Fox was closest at 87.  It was a good time, a little hot and humid, but hey any time on the golf course is good!!  Larry and I were neck to neck and tied after the first 9 holes a 44 each.  Larry started the back nine with birdie birdie and me with par par par.  I had 6 pars on the back nine, with two double bogeys and one single for a 40.

I can hardly wait to defend the title next year.

Well the first workshop on WW reamers was given by John Wright and it was excellent.  We are hoping that John will put this together for an upcoming Casting Call article.

Next workshop starts in 30 min and is on ERIE skillets, complete with handouts.  Update coming afterwards.

Roy M. just gave an update of the ERIE series skillets and pattern marks that are known to exist.  We have many examples of the 28+ marks known to exit.  HEre are a few pix of the skillets laid out for folks to handle and look at

 I'm confused again. Oval roasters. This looks like
it will hold 5. Aren't there only 4 sizes?

We are on break from the convention. Troy, you are thinking griswold, think wagner, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, in oval roasters.

There is a deep #9 in Griswold, so there are 5 Griswold oval roasters too.

A deep number 9 oval? I knew there was a deep number 8 round griswold but never heard of a deep 9 oval griswold. You won't punch me again if I don't believe you, will you?  :'(

 Well Perry, then if I buy two I'm still stuck with an extra slot.

Hmmmm Deep # 9 griswold. Really, why didn't I know that? I don't think I've ever seen one.
