2009 Convention - We are here.. where are you?

As we have done in the last several conventions, I'll start this link so that WAGS members can post updates about the convention as it is happening, so that those that can not be with us in Plano TX can be with us in spirit.  I have my digital camera (but not my software, new computer, so I need to figure out how to decrease pix size) and will post pix as time allows of the happenings at the convention.  I'm still in MA, but will be leaving for Plano shortly.  See you in Plano!!

Lynne and I are just finishing up our packing and plan on leaving Wednesday morning,  if all goes well.  Should be at DFW about 3:30 pm.  We'll be leaving from ONT, so Katerina, if you jump outside about 10:30 or so and wildly wave your arms, I'll try to watch for you as we pass over....maybe have the pilot dip his wings for you... [smiley=asthanos.gif]  See ya'll in Plano.

I'm here, room 1051.  Golfers meet in the hotel lobby at 8 am and we'll car pool over.  Breakfast starts at 6 am.

We'll all be waiting for some of those pictures Greg. I do plan on attending in the future, I just know it won't be in Tacoma. I'm waiting for one a bit closer to the east coast. To bad I found the society a little too late for the one in Erie.

Chuck there is hope.    Larry and Sue Foxx are at the conv. and are willing to head up a conv in their neck of the woods.   Good ole Pa.  members.   They would like to do it next year.    :)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D We want to see them all. I have played golf about 3 times in my entire life, but that has got to be a funny site. Throwing clubs is always a good one.

Richard, we are going to have to rally behind the PA convention. At least for my sake anyway. Tell Greg that we have some pretty awsome golf courses around here.  And I know for sure that there is CI to be found. I guess I could let some go from my area, if it means having a convention here. We'll have to plan it so Becky is on her way through to get her daughter from college, so she can attend.

Chuck, Greg is from Pennsylvania, I do believe. And we have had two conventions in PA. and as for me, I would certainly love to go back. So knock yourself out, I'm all for it. Lets see here, I think a slogan is appropriate. How about, "Lets Do It Again in 10". Yes, that will work. And remember, "lets do in again in 10".

That sounds like a great slogan. Let's run with it. I know enough auctioneers. Maybe we could have them schedule some good CI auctions to coincide with the convention. Or at least a big Flea Market. I've seen some real nice hard to find items at these flea markets around here. Of course they are asking top dollar, but we all know that you can afford it Perry.  ;)
