Thank you Bryce. Believe me, I was panicing on the inside. I really enjoyed all the question, and I actually learned a thing or 2. Deb was a big help. She was very supportive, and also helped me get set up, and then even packed most everything, and hauled it back to the room on the cart. I was busy talking to a bunch of folks about the workshop.

I have no idea why I put Olive Oil in the hand outs, and also said that during the workshop. I plan on letting folks know at dinner.

Note to self: Use [size=22]GRAPE SEED[/size] oil.

That was a great example. I'm glad he brought it. I had no dirty iron for the before, but plenty of clean stuff.

Chuck did a great job.  Tough to be put on the spot with a demonstration at your first convention, but he came through with flying colors.   [smiley=clap.gif] [smiley=appl.gif]

Hi! :)People in the automotive/machineshop think highly of sonice cleaners,they even remove paint.Have these worked well on this industries iron.Secondly,is replating my old and worthy pieces a good idea,or,not.thanks

Haven't heard anything about sonic cleaning for CI. It may be something to look into. If you have access to a system, give it a try with a not so good piece, just to be safe. I can't see it hurting the iron, but better safe, than sorry.

Replating pieces is an option, but can get a bit pricey. Unless of course you have access to a plating operation.
