What a great convention.  Randy and his group did a great  job with everything.  The hotel was very nice and the food was outstanding the dutch oven feast was the best.  I was nice to see old friends and to meet new one's.

The displays of iron was very good along with the swap meet.

Picked up some new pieces for my collection.
The best pieces is a #10 DEEP Small Block skillet.

Hope to see more new faces next year along with all of you I seen this year.

Congratulations to Randy, the presenters and front registration people for putting on a very nice convention, and to Dennis as the new WAGS president.

After missing the last several conventions, it was very enjoyable to meet and see old friends, and new members.

Jack and Larry waxed me in golf again, my hole- in-one last August did not seem to faze them at all.  All that was missing was Greg's foot wedge ::)

Hoping to make Chattanooga next year, as my oldest daughter wants to go with me.

Cheers, Ellis

Thank you Randy for all the work you put into the convention. I wasn't thinking ahead when I offered you my help. I'm not one for public speaking. Saying that, I'm very happy to be a small part of a special event, put together by special people that share the same interest.
Thanks everyone for the first place favorite display. It is special to me because of how much time I put into the hunt for iron. Not to overlook the great display's to chose from!

I'm late to this thread but want to add my heartfelt thank you to Randy/the organizing committee and to everyone who brought cast iron.

It was such a pleasure to see all the beautiful pieces and to be around folks with years and years of knowledge about it.

And I found some griddles at the swap meet to round out my Griswold griddle sets.  Can't wait for Chattanooga. ;D
